This November, British Council Ireland is partnering with Creative Futures Academy (CFA) to deliver an AI Media Literacy workshop as part of the BETA Festival 2026 programme. Hosted at the National College of Art and Design (NCAD), the workshop will be facilitated by ThinkYoung and will bring together a cohort of MA Graphic Design students from NCAD, alongside participants registered through the BETA Festival.
Over two days, attendees will engage in interactive learning, skills development, and collaborative activities designed to foster creativity, innovation, and cross-sector exchange. The training will explore key aspects of the digital media landscape, including data usage, algorithms, and the business models employed by social media platforms. Through a combination of structured learning sessions and group workshops, participants will deepen their understanding of media literacy and its importance in today’s online environment.
This Youth Connect: Media Literacy in the Age of AI workshop will take place in the National College of Art and Design (100 Thomas Street, Dublin 8) from 11-12 November. The workshop is open to young leaders aged 18 – 35. Registration is available at this link
