CFA Students have taken part in ‘Tech for Humanity: Shaping AI’s Impact for a Better Future’ hackathon with Youth Connect at the British Council. The hackathon took place on the National College of Art & Design campus over 2 days, 12th and 13th November.
Youth Connect aims to empower youth (18-35) globally through training and engagement to foster skills, representation, and societal trust. The focus of this Tech for Humanity is to Builds on “AI for the Common Good,” equipping youth with knowledge on emerging tech, fostering proactive engagement for positive impact. The objective is to support students with understanding AI trends, developing strategies for beneficial tech use, and creating tools for social impact.
As part of the event, student’s used Synthesia, a powerful AI video platform, to bring your innovative ideas to life! Winners will visit Edinburgh, UK, in March 2025 to learn from tech projects and participate in networking and idea exchange.
