Artist, Claire McLaughlin, is the recipient of the inaugural Derek Hill Foundation Residency at Glenveagh National Park and The Glebe House and Gallery. Claire is a recent graduate of CFA at NCAD’s Art and Ecology programme completing both our Certificate and later our Diploma in Art and Ecology. We are delighted to see another alumna shine in this space and wish her all the best with her residency.
This residency is funded by the DHF and supported by the NPWS, the OPW and Regional Cultural Centre (Donegal County Council) to allow the selected artist to research and explore the natural ecology, heritage, culture and local communities of Glenveagh/The Glebe.
Claire will present on her creative journey and this unique residency experience at an Artist-in-Residence Talk at Visitor Centre, Glenveagh National Park on Saturday 12th April 2025 at 3pm.
