CFA participates in Creative Skills Week 2025

As part of Creative Skills Week 2025 in Prague, members of the CFA team delivered and participated in a series of impactful panel sessions and workshops on 24–25 September, contributing to meaningful sector-wide conversations.

Highlights included:

  • “From Green to Just Transition”, where speakers tackled the gap between existing training and the evolving needs of the creative industries, discussing inclusive transformation strategies and regional collaboration. Speakers included CFA at NCAD’s Enda O’Dowd, Seoidín O’Sullivan and Bernie McCoy.

  • “The Future of Craft: From Tradition to Innovation”, where panel participants including CFA Director Louise Allen, explored how technology, market shifts, and skills development are reshaping Europe’s craft and makers sector.

  • Participating in a hands-on Cyanotypes training workshop focused on micro-credentials aimed at educators, strategists, and cultural intermediaries.

The sessions drew strong engagement and positive feedback from attendees, with participants highlighting the panels’ practical insights and forward-thinking perspectives. The workshops encouraged lively discussion, networking, and collaboration among emerging and established creative professionals alike. By bringing together diverse voices from across the sector, CFA reinforced its role as a key driver of innovation, skills development and creative opportunities.
