Applications are sought for Ad Astra Fellows within the UCD School of Art History and Cultural Policy.


The School of Art History & Cultural Policy, UCD is the largest academic department of its kind in Ireland. It is distinguished by its long-established MA in Cultural Policy and Arts Management and a new BA Humanities in Creative and Cultural Industries. This new four-year Creative and Cultural Industries degree blends the breadth and richness of an arts and humanities degree with innovation, organisational, digital and management skills. Applications are welcome from excellent candidates whose expertise expands and strengthens the School’s research and its undergraduate and graduate teaching programmes. The School has identified a number of strategic research areas in which it would particularly like to receive applications in the fields of creative and cultural industries. These may include (but are not limited to) fashion; gaming/ game theory; television and screen studies; music production; marketing and advertising; new media and digital practice; design; globalisation and the creative industries; etc.
