We are delighted to announce that Creative Skills Week 2026 has been recognised as an Associated Presidency Event of the Irish Presidency of the Council of the EU 2026.

This recognition reflects Creative Skills Week’s role as a collaborative European meeting point for projects, partnerships, networks, institutions, policymakers, educators, cultural organisations, businesses, and creative professionals committed to exploring how culture, creativity, skills, and innovation can shape Europe’s future.

As part of this recognition, Creative Futures Academy will host The Irish Case: High-Level Debate, a session exploring how Ireland is positioning creative skills, micro-credentials, and flexible learning models within wider innovation, education, and economic strategies.

CFA will also host a networking reception, featuring artist Jennie Moran and a live musical performance by Clare Sands, celebrating contemporary Irish creativity and cultural connection.

Creative Skills Week 2026 is co-organised by EIT Culture & Creativity, CYANOTYPES and Creative Futures Academy, in collaboration with the Creative Pact for Skills, CREDEX and the GreenCCIrcle project.

The event is kindly hosted by ICHEC Brussels Management School and LUCA School of Arts, and is curated by ELIA. It is also recognised as an Associated Event of the Irish Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2026.
