Exhibition welcomed by Patrick O'Donovan, Minister for Culture, Communications and Sport

Creative Futures Academy officially launched the Creative Boardroom: Collaborate4Climate exhibition with Patrick O’Donovan, Minister for Culture, Communications and Sport and Feargal Ó Coigligh Secretary General of the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport at their departmental offices on Leeson Lane on Tuesday 21st October.

Creative Boardroom: Collaborate4Climate is a pioneering, all-island initiative addressing the urgent challenge of climate change through creative collaboration and leadership. Led by The Institute of Directors (IoD) Ireland, The Institute of Directors Northern Ireland, and Creative Futures Academy, the first phase brought together chartered directors, students, designers, entrepreneurs and innovators with the shared ambition to create actionable solutions for our planet.

Together with our new project partner Forvis Mazars we are delighted to announce phase two of Creative Boardroom: Collaborate4Climate supported through the Creative Ireland Shared Island Fund that will take place throughout 2025.

The Collaborate4Climate exhibition, designed using sustainable principles, spotlights key climate areas: transport and mobility, the built environment, agriculture and food, and consumables. Phase two will see the exhibition tour host organisations across the island of Ireland. Creative Boardroom will also bring design thinking workshops to host organisations across the island. These workshops will provide the opportunity to develop a framework for action and embed insight into decision-making.

The Department of Culture, Communications & Sport (DCCS) supports engagement with arts, culture and creativity by individuals and communities across Ireland. It works to enhance the social and economic role of the arts, culture and film sectors in Ireland by promoting and encouraging artistic expression, cultural awareness and participation.

Creative Ireland, an initiative led by DCCS, aims to spark inspiration and transformation through creativity. At its heart is a bold vision: everyone in Ireland should have the chance to unlock their full creative potential.

The Department of Culture ,Communication and Sport (DCCS) will be hosting the Creative Boardroom: Collaborate4Climate exhibition until 24th October at their offices on Leeson Lane, Dublin 2. The exhibition will then move to the Killarney Offices from 3rd to the 14th of November.
