Cinematic Designers is a transnational research project funded by the European Union’s Creative Europe programme.
The initiative brings together higher education institutions across Spain, Ireland, Belgium, and Poland to explore how cinematic thinking can transform design education and creative practice. Creative Futures Academy is delighted to support this project through CFA at NCAD, a partner of Cinematic Designers.
The project introduces the concept of the cinematic designer: an interdisciplinary profile combining design methodologies, systems thinking, and cinematic storytelling tools to develop new approaches to ecological and social transition challenges.
Through workshops, educational frameworks, creative challenges, exhibitions, and public dissemination, Cinematic Designers investigates how narrative and visual culture can support more sustainable and inclusive futures.
