We are seeking expressions of interest from a creative professional from visual art / film / design / animation with a practice informed by immersive technologies to join us as a Creative Futures Academy Fellow at IADT in June 2024. This is with a view to exploring the creative potential of extended reality (XR) and other related technologies.

The successful candidate will have access to our Virtual Production and the Dolby Atmos Immersive Sound Studios with industry standard software and hardware. They will collaborate with our academic lead to deliver a programme of work delivered over 5 to 10 days including some on campus activities, showcasing some creative techniques, skills and methods in digital, immersive and interactive technologies. You may have a creative project that you would like to advance or test, but the proposed work plan should include some type of demonstration/workshop and participation in public-facing events. This would suit a project in development and near completion and that will be ready for exhibition in IADT on the following dates: 4th – 7th June 2024.

Experience/Skills required:

• Established profile as a creative practitioner 
• Experience of working with learners 
• An understanding of the various stakeholders within the Immersive Technology sector
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• An excellent team worker with a strong sense of autonomy and the ability to work on own initiative
• A forward thinker, ideas generator and solution driven

• A proposal (500 words max.) outlining your ideas for delivering the above. The proposal should include a demonstration/workshop and an outline of some suggestions for public facing events. Include how you plan to use CFA resources.
