We are delighted to share the news that our very own, Dr Nicolas Pillai, (UCD School of English, Drama and Film and UCD’s Academic Lead for the Creative Futures Academy) has been awarded the UCD Teaching Excellence Award. A total of 3,046 nominations were submitted by UCD students, faculty and staff between November 2023 and the end of August 2024.
Following a very competitive process, 15 of those are honoured with prestigious University-level awards, the highest honour bestowed by the University for teaching and learning. Dr. Pillai has significantly influenced CFA’s academic offerings. His leadership and scholarly work have been instrumental in shaping CFA’s curriculum and fostering a dynamic learning environment for students in the creative sector.
