Acting as an advisory body to the CFA, Council members nominate a representative to ensure we stay at the cutting edge of current thinking and practice. Working together, we aim to identify current and future trends informing the learning needs of each sector. This will shape how our learning platforms develop and evolve over the coming years, and will help us to provide learning experiences that enhance career opportunities, supporting the long-term sustainability of culture and creativity in Ireland.
Abhann Productions is the production company of Riverdance, one of the most successful music and dance stage shows globally. More than 1200 Irish and international artists have performed in the show since its debut in 1995. Riverdance is involved in the education of young Irish dancers through its academy programmes in Ireland and the USA.

Words Ireland is a grouping of seven literature organisations who have worked together collaboratively since 2015 for the advancement of writers. Words Ireland partner organisations include: Children’s Books Ireland, Literature Ireland, Irish Writers Centre, Munster Literature Centre, Poetry Ireland, Publishing Ireland and The Stinging Fly.
