Join Irish horror-fiction author Maura McHugh for a one-day practical workshop on working with teams to shape stories about climate crisis.
This hands-on one-day workshop will be broken down into the following main sections (with breaks for coffee/breather and lunch).
About Maura McHugh
Maura McHugh lives in Ireland and writes across a variety of media, including prose, theatre, film/TV, video games and comic books. Her collection, The Boughs Withered (When I Told Them My Dreams), was nominated for the British Fantasy Award and her short story ‘Bone Mother’ was adapted into a stop-motion animated short film. She’s the lead writer on the point-and-click game, Jennifer Wilde from Outsider Games in Belfast. She also writes non-fiction and discusses pop culture, and has written a book on David Lynch’s cult film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, which was nominated for a British Fantasy Award for Best Non Fiction.
